Stuff Smith (by name Hezekiah Leroy Gordon Smith) was an American jazz violinist. He is well known for the song “ If You´re a Viper “ He was one of jazz music´s preeminent violinists of the swing era. He is credited as being the first violinist to use electric amplification techniques on a violin.

b. August 14, 1909 in Portsmouth, Ohio.
d. September 25, 1967 in Munich, Germany.

Poul Olsen (by name Poul Arnold Olsen) was a Danish violinist, he was one of Danish jazz elite´s foremost violinist and musicians in golden age jazz. He often played on Copenhagen Jazz Festival and Jazzhouse Montmartre.

b. April 3, 1920 in Copenhagen.
d. July 12, 1987 in Helsingør, Denmark.
