Ole Kongsted is a Danish Jazz saxophonist, he studied musicology at the University of Copenhagen. From 1980-2000 Ole Kongsted was assistant director at the Museum for the History of Music in Copenhagen. In the 1960s he made a career as a jazz musician, where among other things, he played at the jazz club Montmartre with saxophonists such as Ben Webster and Ornette Coleman.

Arnvid Meyer (by name Arnvid Clement Meyer) was a Danish Jazz Musician and Bandleader for his own Orchestra (Arnvid Meyers Orchestra). Arnvid Meyer was the architect behind the Danish jazz center, that in 1971-1996 was an engine for jazz activities at home and abroad as secretariat, information center and archive. Arnvid Meyer grew up in Copenhagen and was already as a 12-year-old interested in jazz. He started playing the trumpet during the Second World War with, among others, Erik Parker. Meyer has left record and archive collections of international importance. The Jazz Centre's archives are today at the University of Southern Denmark, and his private collection will be transferred to the royal Danish library.

John Darville (by name John Eugene Darville) was a Danish trumpeter and merchant. Began his musical career as a 16-year-old drummer and became in the early 1940s engaged as trombonist in Franklin Juhlert´s orchestra. Became a member of Rågeleje Jazz in 1954 and from 1960 he was frontman in trumpeter Arnvid Meyer´s orchestra.

d. June 26, 2005 in Copenhagen.
