Martin Williams (by name Martin Tudor Hansford Williams) was an American jazz critic and writer.
Williams beginning in the early 1950s, became a prolific jazz critic, contributing articles to “ The Saturday Review” and The jazz Review, which he founded in November 1958 with Nat Hentoff.

b. August 9, 1924 in Richmond, Virginia.
d. April 13, 1992 in Washington, D.C., United States.
