The twin brothers Jonathan and Alexander Berntsen stand behind Restaurant Clou in Borgergade, which got its first Michelin star in 2014. It kept it in Guide Michelin Nordic Cities 2016.
Clou has simplicity in focus and the style is consistent in both in the restaurant's decor and the served dishes. The atmosphere is informal, but still luxurious in the small room that also contains a huge wine cooler in the middle.
The food is characterized by flawless classic craftsmanship and served both as a menu of seven dishes or á la carte.
Besides the restaurant, there is a wine bar and wine shop.
