Description

The Aller House stands eight stories tall and collects various media houses in one building on the outermost pier on Havneholmen.

It's a triangular building with a pointed stern, and the facades are made of glass and aluminium. The Aller House is surrounded by water on two sides, and the appearance combined with the location makes the building resemble an icebreaker.

The Nordic seasons

The large glass facades draw light into the large atrium that's built in granite, oak, walnut and frosted glass, which reflects the Nordic seasons.

Keeping the workers in mind

The architects behind the Aller House are PLH Arkitekter. They have analyzed the working rhythms of the people working in Aller House and designed the house after their needs.

There are 850 jobs at Aller House, and the glass and the transparency in the building aims to ease the contact between coworkers.
